Happy Spring!!

We hope that you will join us for a presentation with

Melissa Cronshaw of Melissa’s Bees

On Wed, April 10, 7 pm at the Clubhouse, 1059 Vallecito Rd

At age five, Melissa began tagging on bee adventures with her dad, Paul Cronshaw, Santa Barbara’s premiere beekeeper for many years. While amassing an impressive amount of bee knowledge, she became a kindergarten teacher before venturing beyond the classroom, where she quickly began caring for over 100 hives in the Santa Barbara area.

She soon made the transition from a full-time teacher to a full-time beekeeper. Melissa loves to educate through classes, presentations, and mentorship, fostering a deep interest in bees and beekeeping.

You will find that the energy in the room is buzzing when Melissa shares her passion!

Please forward this to your bee-loving friends, and as always, feel free to bring a dish or bottle of wine to share. You can be sure honeycomb will be on the table!

MELISSA’S BEES was established to offer services and assistance to the general public, pollinators, and fellow beekeepers. With a Master's degree in Education, my emphasis focuses on revealing the marvels of nature while nurturing deep and meaningful personal connections. Rooted in the philosophy of treatment-free natural beekeeping, my focus lies in fostering the vitality of bee colonies and their interconnected ecosystem. Without resorting to chemical interventions, I employ natural methods to enhance bee health, allowing robust colonies to naturally yield surplus products for communal sharing.
